The Greater Glory Baptist Church began on May 15, 1974 in the home of Joyce Cathleen Ronald. Rev. Hollis Clevenger, Jr., Sis. Ronald's nephew began preaching every Sunday and ultimately became the first pastor of the church. From that moment on, Greater Glory Baptist Church began its rich history of following the example set forth by the Apostles in the book of Acts: preaching, teaching, fellowship, and prayer.
